“Who me?” you may ask. “Buy a treadmill desk? Why would I ever do that?”
If you’re like most people, you probably spend A LOT of time in front of a screen – working, binge watching, socializing, etc. You probably have also heard that sitting still for long periods of time is one of the very worst things you can do for your health.
When I decided to spend a lot of time writing, I realized that this decision would mean a lot of sitting, which would be harmful to my health. Fortunately, I lucked upon a perfect solution to this problem.

This gentle pace is hardly noticeable, but helps to keep me in shape, stay healthy, and burn calories. A treadmill desk is one of the smartest decisions you can make for your health. Standing desks are fine, too, but if you’re standing, why not also walk and increase the benefits?
Moving also helps keep you feeling fresh and invigorated. Though walking may seem like an unwanted distraction, it actually brings vitality. Why did Steve Jobs always prefer to have his meetings while walking? He knew that movement keeps things stimulating.
